Verification Policy
Effective date: May 10, 2026 · Last updated: May 10, 2026
This policy is public and written for everyone. Whether you are a company seeking verification or a user relying on the AMANA Verified badge, this document explains exactly what the badge means, what AMANA reviews, and what AMANA does not review. Please read it carefully before submitting for verification or before making any business decision based on a verified badge.

2. What “AMANA Verified” Means
Full official definition
"AMANA Verified" means that AMANA has manually reviewed the Trade License submitted by a company and confirmed, at the time of review, that: (i) the Trade License appeared active; (ii) the expiry date was reviewed; and (iii) the company legal name appeared to match the submitted Trade License. AMANA Verified is a limited document review only. It is not a certification, endorsement, recommendation, legal opinion, financial assessment, quality assessment, due diligence report, or guarantee of the company, its services, its conduct, its financial standing, its compliance, its contractual performance, or its future behaviour.
In plain language
When you see the AMANA Verified badge on a company profile, it means one thing and one thing only: AMANA's team reviewed a Trade License document submitted by that company at a specific point in time, and the document appeared to be valid on that date.
The badge does NOT mean any of the following:
- ✗The company is trustworthy or reputable
- ✗The company is qualified to perform any service it offers
- ✗The company is financially sound or solvent
- ✗The company is legally compliant in all areas of its operations
- ✗The company is safe to do business with
- ✗AMANA endorses, recommends, or vouches for the company in any way
- ✗The company's Trade License remains valid today
- ✗The company continues to operate lawfully
⚠️ Users must conduct their own independent due diligence before entering any commercial relationship, regardless of verified status.
3. What AMANA Verifies
AMANA's verification review is strictly limited to the following four points, and nothing more:
- ✓Trade License document review — a Trade License document was submitted by the company
- ✓Document activity — the Trade License appeared to be active at the time of review
- ✓Expiry date — the expiry date printed on the document was noted by AMANA's team
- ✓Name match — the company name on the platform profile appeared to match the company name printed on the Trade License
AMANA does not employ specialists in trade license law, forensic document examination, or jurisdictional business regulation. The review is a reasonable visual check by a non-specialist member of AMANA's operations team. It is not an expert examination.
4. What AMANA Does NOT Verify
The following categories are explicitly outside the scope of AMANA's verification process. AMANA makes no review, assessment, or representation whatsoever regarding any of the items listed below.
Identity and personal documents
- ✗Passports or national identity documents of any person
- ✗Kbis certificates or equivalent foreign company registrations
- ✗Diplomas, degrees, or academic qualifications
- ✗Professional certifications or licenses (medical, legal, financial, engineering, or any other regulated profession)
Professional standing and competence
- ✗Professional skills or competence of any person or company
- ✗Professional insurance or indemnity coverage
- ✗Financial solvency, creditworthiness, or financial health
- ✗Business history or track record
- ✗Reputation or reviews from prior clients or counterparties
Profile content and commercial claims
- ✗Actual quality of services or products offered by the company
- ✗Commercial claims, descriptions, or promises made on the company profile or page
- ✗Gallery photos or videos uploaded by the company
- ✗Testimonials or recommendations displayed on the profile
- ✗Employee claims or team information published by the company
Transactions and third-party interactions
- ✗Contracts or agreements entered into between users
- ✗Payments or financial transactions between users
- ✗Any arrangement, deal, or engagement made off-platform
Ongoing validity after the verification date
- ✗That the Trade License remains valid after the verification date
- ✗That the company continues to operate lawfully after verification
- ✗That the company's actual business activities match those stated on the platform
- ✗That any information provided by the company after verification remains accurate or current
⚠️ This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. When in doubt, assume AMANA has not verified it.
5. Verification Review Process
The AMANA Verified badge is granted through the following manual process:
- 1Submission: The company submits its Trade License document via the AMANA platform. Submission is voluntary and initiated by the company.
- 2Manual review: AMANA's team manually reviews the submitted document. The review is a reasonable visual check of the document's appearance, activity status, expiry date, and company name.
- 3Decision: If the document appears valid and the company name appears to match the platform profile, the AMANA Verified badge is granted. If it does not meet these criteria, the request is rejected.
- 4Badge display: The badge is displayed on the company profile. It includes the approximate verification date or year so that other users can assess how recently the review was conducted.
Badge status values
At any given time, a company's verification status may be one of the following:
- Pending:The document has been submitted and is under review.
- Approved:The badge has been granted and is displayed on the company profile.
- Rejected:The badge was not granted. The company may resubmit with corrected documentation.
- Expired:The Trade License expiry date noted at review has passed. The badge is no longer shown as active.
- Revoked:The badge has been removed by AMANA. See Section 8 for grounds.
6. Verification Date and Currency
The AMANA Verified badge reflects the state of the Trade License at the time of review only. AMANA does not continuously monitor Trade License validity after the initial review. The badge may remain displayed even if the Trade License has since expired, been suspended, or been revoked by the relevant licensing authority.
The verification date displayed alongside the badge indicates when the review was conducted. A badge that was approved twelve months ago reflects a review performed twelve months ago — not the current status of the Trade License.
Users must independently verify the current Trade License status before entering any commercial relationship with a verified company. This may include contacting the relevant licensing authority, using official government portals, or seeking professional legal advice.
⚠️ AMANA assumes no duty to update or re-verify badges after initial approval. The verified date is informational only.
7. Trade License Expiry
AMANA records the expiry date noted on the Trade License document reviewed at the time of verification. When that expiry date is reached:
- ·AMANA may automatically change the badge status to “Expired”
- ·The badge will no longer be displayed as active on the company profile
- ·AMANA will attempt to notify the company by email to the registered address
- ·The company may resubmit an updated, renewed Trade License for re-verification
- ·Re-verification requires a new full review and is not automatic
AMANA is not responsible for any business impact, reputational effect, or commercial consequence caused by badge expiry, including where AMANA fails to send or the company fails to receive an expiry notification. It remains the company's responsibility to track its own Trade License renewal dates.
8. Revocation of the Badge
AMANA may revoke the AMANA Verified badge at any time, without prior notice, if any of the following grounds apply:
- ✗The Trade License has expired or appears to have lapsed since the verification date
- ✗AMANA has reason to believe the document submitted was false, forged, altered, or expired at the time of submission
- ✗The company provided misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent information on its profile or company page
- ✗AMANA receives a credible report or complaint suggesting the badge was improperly obtained
- ✗AMANA can no longer reasonably confirm the information on which the badge was originally based
- ✗The company or its authorized users violate AMANA's Terms of Service or any applicable policy
- ✗AMANA determines that revocation is necessary to protect the platform, other users, or AMANA's integrity
- ✗Any competent authority, regulator, or court requests or orders removal of the badge
Effect of revocation
Upon revocation, the badge is removed from the company profile immediately. AMANA will make reasonable efforts to notify the company by email to the registered address, but notification is not a condition of revocation. Revocation takes effect instantly upon AMANA's decision.
No refund of subscription fees or verification-related payments is issued as a result of revocation. Revocation does not automatically result in account termination, but depending on the grounds for revocation, further action under AMANA's Terms of Service may follow.
⚠️ AMANA's right to revoke is exercised in good faith. Companies that believe a revocation was made in error may contact AMANA at contact@amana-uae.com with supporting documentation.
9. Rejection of Verification
AMANA may reject a verification request without granting the badge if any of the following apply:
- !The document submitted is not a Trade License
- !The document cannot be read, is illegible, or cannot be verified due to quality
- !The document appears to be expired, forged, or altered
- !The company name on the document does not match the company name on the platform profile
- !The document is issued by a jurisdiction that AMANA cannot verify or does not currently support
- !AMANA has concerns about the authenticity or integrity of the submission
Rejection of a verification request does not automatically result in account suspension. However, repeated submissions of false or altered documents, or a single submission that AMANA determines to be deliberately fraudulent, may trigger further review and may result in account suspension or termination under AMANA's Terms of Service. AMANA reserves the right to report suspected document fraud to competent authorities.
10. User Obligations — Submitting for Verification
By submitting a Trade License document for verification, the company and its authorized representative represent, warrant, and agree to the following:
- 1Authenticity: The submitted document is genuine, unaltered, and currently valid at the time of submission.
- 2Name accuracy: The company legal name on the Trade License matches the company name on the AMANA platform profile.
- 3Legal consequences of false submission: Providing false, forged, altered, or expired documents constitutes a material breach of AMANA's Terms of Service, may result in immediate account termination, and may be reported to competent regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
- 4Renewal obligation: The company agrees to submit an updated Trade License before expiry in order to maintain active badge status. AMANA bears no responsibility for badge expiry caused by the company's failure to renew.
- 5Acknowledgment of revocation right: The company acknowledges that the badge may be revoked at any time on the grounds set out in Section 8 of this policy, and accepts this as a condition of participation in the verification program.
⚠️ Submission of a verification request constitutes acceptance of this Verification Policy in its entirety.
11. User Responsibility — Relying on the Badge
Users who view the AMANA Verified badge on any company profile understand and unconditionally agree to the following:
- 1Scope of the badge: The badge represents only a limited Trade License review as described in this policy. It does not represent any broader assessment of the company.
- 2No substitute for due diligence: The badge must not be relied upon as a substitute for: independent commercial due diligence, legal advice, financial advice, background checks, credit checks, contractual protections, regulatory verification, or any other form of professional assessment.
- 3AMANA not liable: AMANA is not responsible for any loss, damage, financial harm, reputational harm, or any other consequence arising directly or indirectly from reliance on the AMANA Verified badge or from doing business with a verified company.
- 4Sole user responsibility: Users remain solely and exclusively responsible for verifying any company, professional, service provider, opportunity, offer, contract, transaction, investment, payment, or business relationship before engaging, regardless of verified status.
Bottom line: AMANA Verified is a starting point for awareness — not a conclusion for trust. Always perform your own verification before entering any business relationship.
12. No Endorsement
For the avoidance of doubt, the AMANA Verified badge is expressly NOT any of the following:
- ✗An endorsement by AMANA of the company, its services, its owners, its management, or its conduct
- ✗A recommendation by AMANA to do business with, transact with, or engage the verified company
- ✗A guarantee of quality, legality, reliability, or suitability for any purpose
- ✗A representation that the company is regulated, licensed, or supervised by any governmental or professional authority
- ✗A representation that the company complies with any applicable law, regulation, or industry standard
- ✗A legal opinion of any kind
- ✗A financial assessment, credit assessment, or investment recommendation
- ✗A due diligence report
- ✗A background check
- ✗Evidence that the company is free from complaints, legal proceedings, or regulatory action
13. Reporting Suspected Badge Misuse
If you believe that the AMANA Verified badge is being displayed fraudulently by a company — for example, because the badge was not legitimately obtained, or because you have reason to believe the verified company is engaging in deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful practices — please report it to AMANA immediately.
How to report:
Email: contact@amana-uae.com
Subject line: "Badge Misuse Report — [Company Name]"
Please include the company name, the URL of the profile in question, a description of your concerns, and any supporting evidence you can provide.
AMANA will investigate all reports received in good faith and with reasonable diligence. However, AMANA cannot guarantee any specific outcome, timeline, or course of action as a result of a report. AMANA will not disclose the identity of the reporting user to the reported company without the reporter's consent, except where required by law.
⚠️ Making a false or malicious report against a legitimately verified company may itself constitute a breach of AMANA's Terms of Service.
14. AMANA's Right to Modify the Verification Program
AMANA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the verification program, or any aspect of it, at any time and for any reason. This includes, without limitation, the right to:
- ·Change the documents required for verification
- ·Change the criteria applied during review
- ·Change the visual appearance or labelling of the badge
- ·Introduce new badge tiers or retire existing ones
- ·Suspend the program entirely
- ·Require re-verification of previously approved companies
Material changes to verification criteria will be communicated via platform notice, email, or both, with reasonable advance notice where practicable. Existing badges may be reassessed if criteria materially change. Companies affected by a material change will be notified and given an opportunity to resubmit documentation where applicable.
AMANA's modification or discontinuation of the verification program does not give rise to any right of compensation, refund, or claim against AMANA.
15. Relationship to Terms of Service
This Verification Policy forms part of and is incorporated by reference into AMANA's Terms of Service. By using the AMANA platform, all users — whether or not they participate in the verification program — are bound by this policy.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this Verification Policy and AMANA's Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
This policy should be read together with AMANA's Privacy Policy, which governs how documents submitted for verification are processed, stored, and handled.
⚠️ Enforcement mechanisms and remedies are subject to local legal review. The enforceability of specific provisions may vary by jurisdiction.
