1. Why Reporting Matters

AMANA relies on its community to help identify and report violations of platform policies, fraudulent activity, and safety concerns. AMANA cannot monitor every interaction or piece of content on the platform, and user reports play a critical role in maintaining a professional, safe, and trustworthy environment.

All reports are taken seriously and reviewed in good faith. Reporting is one of the most valuable contributions a user can make to the health of the AMANA platform.

2. What to Report

You should report any of the following to AMANA:

  • ·Fake profiles or impersonation of a real person or company
  • ·Fake or fraudulent company pages
  • ·Suspected fake or forged Trade License documents
  • ·Fraudulent business offers, scams, or deceptive commercial practices
  • ·Unauthorized investment or financial service promotion
  • ·Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent multi-level marketing (MLM)
  • ·Illegal cryptocurrency or token sale promotion (unauthorized ICO/ITO/STO)
  • ·Harassment or threats from another user
  • ·Discriminatory or hateful content
  • ·Spam or unsolicited mass messaging
  • ·Privacy violation (posting private information about another person without consent)
  • ·Intellectual property infringement (unauthorized use of copyright, trademark, or other protected material)
  • ·Suspicious payment requests from other users

4. What Happens After You Report

After you submit a report, AMANA will:

  1. 1
Acknowledge receipt: Where an email address is provided, AMANA will acknowledge receipt of the report.
  2. 2
Review the report: AMANA's team will review the report in good faith to assess its nature and severity.
  3. 3
Investigate as appropriate: AMANA will conduct an investigation appropriate to the nature of the report.
  4. 4
Take action if a violation is found: If AMANA determines that a violation has occurred, appropriate enforcement action will be taken.

Possible actions following an investigation

  • ·Content removal
  • ·Removal of the AMANA Verified badge
  • ·Account feature restriction
  • ·Account suspension
  • ·Account termination
  • ·Cooperation with competent authorities

5. Response Time

AMANA aims to review reports within a reasonable timeframe. However, AMANA does not guarantee a specific response time for any report. Urgent safety matters will be prioritised within AMANA's review queue.

AMANA is not obligated to disclose the outcome of an investigation to the reporting user. In some cases, disclosure would compromise an ongoing investigation or legal process.

6. Confidentiality

AMANA will endeavour to keep the identity of the reporting user confidential where possible. AMANA will not disclose the identity of a reporting user to the reported user without consent, except where:

  • ·Disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid legal order
  • ·Disclosure is necessary for the purposes of the investigation

AMANA cannot guarantee complete confidentiality in all circumstances.

7. Evidence

To assist AMANA's investigation, please attach any available supporting evidence to your report. This may include:

  • ·Screenshots of the relevant profile, content, or messages
  • ·URLs pointing to the reported content
  • ·Copies of documents or communications
  • ·Any other relevant information or context

The more information provided, the better AMANA can assess and respond to the situation. Please do not modify, alter, or edit any evidence before submitting it.

8. No Guarantee of Outcome

AMANA does not guarantee any specific outcome or enforcement action following the receipt of a report. AMANA's investigation and enforcement decisions are made at AMANA's sole discretion and are final. AMANA is not obligated to explain, justify, or disclose its enforcement decisions to the reporting user.

9. False or Malicious Reports

Submitting a knowingly false or malicious report — for example, making a bad-faith report to harm a competitor or to harass another user — is a violation of AMANA's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Users who abuse the reporting system may face enforcement action, including account restriction or termination. AMANA reserves the right to take action against users who submit false or malicious reports.

10. Reporting to Authorities

Contacting AMANA does not replace filing a report with relevant authorities. For suspected criminal activity — including fraud, threats, extortion, illegal content, or other criminal conduct — you should also report to:

  • ·Local law enforcement (in the UAE: the relevant police authority)
  • ·Competent regulatory authorities (e.g., the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority for financial fraud)
  • ·The relevant financial intelligence unit if financial crime is suspected
  • ·Any other competent authority with jurisdiction over the conduct concerned

AMANA is not a law enforcement body and cannot substitute for official reporting channels.
