Subscription Policy

Summary: AMANA subscriptions grant access to platform software features only. All paid plans renew automatically. Fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details on refunds and exceptions.

1. Overview

This Subscription Policy governs access to paid subscription plans on the AMANA professional networking platform (the "Platform"), operated by Denhill International LLC, registered at IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("AMANA", "we", "us", "our").

AMANA is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology platform intended for professional and business use. A subscription to AMANA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Platform’s software features for the duration of your paid plan.

Subscriptions grant access to software features only. They do not include or constitute: professional services, legal, financial, or business advice; guaranteed introductions, connections, or business outcomes; or any guarantee of commercial benefit from use of the Platform.

2. Available Plans

AMANA currently offers the following subscription plans:

Free

Core platform features at no charge. No payment method required. Includes profile creation, basic discovery, and limited messaging.

Pro

Enhanced individual networking features, including expanded messaging, access to Pro opportunities, and priority search visibility. Available on a monthly or annual billing cycle.

Business — Company Verified Listing

Company page management features, AMANA Verified badge eligibility (subject to approval), advanced analytics, and enhanced company visibility. Available on a monthly or annual billing cycle.

Founder Offer

Limited early-adopter pricing available for a restricted period or quantity. Subject to availability and the specific terms communicated at the time of the offer. See Section 14 for full Founder Offer terms.

AMANA reserves the right to add, modify, or retire subscription plans at any time. Where a plan is retired or materially changed, existing subscribers on that plan will receive at least 30 days’ advance notice by email.

3. Billing Cycle

Monthly billing

Monthly plans are billed every 30 days from the date of your original subscription. Your billing date will be the same calendar day each month as your subscription start date.

Annual billing

Annual plans are billed once per year from your subscription start date. Annual plans typically offer a significant discount compared to the equivalent monthly rate. Your billing date will be the same calendar day each year as your subscription start date.

Currency and payment processing

All subscriptions are billed in US Dollars (USD) via Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. Stripe handles currency conversion automatically for international payment methods. AMANA does not store full credit card details.

4. Automatic Renewal

All paid AMANA subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the same price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. AMANA (via Stripe) will charge the payment method on file on each renewal date without further action required from you.

AMANA does not guarantee that a separate renewal reminder will be sent before each automatic renewal. It is your responsibility to monitor your subscription renewal dates and cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing period.

5. Upgrade

You may upgrade your subscription plan at any time by navigating to Settings → Manage Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately upon confirmation.

A prorated credit for the unused portion of your current billing period may be applied toward the cost of the new, higher-tier plan, at AMANA’s discretion. The amount of any prorated credit will be calculated based on the remaining days in your current billing period at the time of upgrade.

6. Downgrade

You may downgrade your subscription plan at any time via Settings → Manage Subscription or by contacting contact@amana-uae.com.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the features of your current plan until the period ends. No partial refund is issued for the remaining period following a downgrade request. After the period ends, access to premium features of the prior plan will cease.

7. Cancellation

How to cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage Subscription, or by emailing contact@amana-uae.com.

Effect of cancellation

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to all paid plan features until that date. After the period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan. No partial-period refund is issued.

8. Failed Payments and Suspension

If a payment fails, AMANA (via Stripe) will automatically retry the charge according to Stripe’s standard retry schedule, typically over several days. If the payment continues to fail after repeated attempts, AMANA may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Suspend access to premium features
  • Restrict certain account functionalities
  • Downgrade the account to the Free plan

Where practicable, AMANA will notify you by email if your payment has failed and your account is at risk of suspension. However, AMANA is not liable for any loss of access, data, or business impact resulting from account suspension where the suspension is caused by an invalid, expired, or declined payment method on the user’s account.

To reactivate a suspended account, you must update your payment method in Settings → Manage Subscription and settle any outstanding balance.

9. Grace Period

At its sole discretion, AMANA may offer a short grace period following a payment failure — typically up to 7 calendar days — before downgrading or suspending a subscription. This grace period is intended to give users time to update their payment information.

The grace period is not guaranteed and may vary. AMANA reserves the right to modify or remove the grace period at any time. The existence of a grace period does not create any obligation on AMANA to delay enforcement of payment terms.

10. Taxes

Prices displayed on the Platform may be exclusive of applicable taxes — including value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, or similar levies — unless expressly stated otherwise at the checkout stage. Where legally required, applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed prior to payment confirmation.

You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription based on your location, the nature of your use, and applicable law. AMANA is not responsible for determining tax obligations specific to your jurisdiction.

⚠️ UAE VAT obligations, including registration thresholds, applicability to SaaS services, and TRN (Tax Registration Number) requirements, are subject to local legal review in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax and applicable Executive Regulations.

11. Invoices and Receipts

Stripe automatically generates an invoice or receipt for each successful payment. You can access your full billing history, including past invoices and receipts, directly within your AMANA account at Settings → Manage Subscription.

If you require a specific invoice format, a VAT invoice, or have any billing history enquiry, please contact us at contact@amana-uae.com and we will assist within 2 business days.

12. Changes to Pricing

AMANA reserves the right to change subscription prices at any time. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice by email before any price increase takes effect on your account.

If you do not cancel your subscription before the effective date of the price change, your continued use of the Platform will be deemed acceptance of the new pricing. Cancellation instructions are set out in Section 7.

13. Promotional Offers and Discount Codes

From time to time, AMANA may offer promotional pricing, trial periods, or discount codes. All promotions are subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of the offer and:

  • Are time-limited and subject to availability
  • May not be combined with other promotions, discount codes, or Founder offer pricing unless expressly stated
  • Are subject to AMANA’s right to modify or withdraw at any time, including during the promotional period, subject to applicable law

Abuse of promotional pricing — including but not limited to creating multiple accounts to access promotions, sharing promotional codes beyond their intended scope, or misrepresenting eligibility — may result in the cancellation of the promotion, recovery of promotional discounts, and/or termination of the account(s) involved.

14. Founder Offer Terms

AMANA Founder offers are special limited-time pricing arrangements for early adopters. The following terms apply in addition to the general subscription terms in this Policy:

  • Personal and non-transferable: Founder pricing is tied to the specific account that subscribed under the offer. It cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or assigned to any other account or individual.
  • Non-combinable: Founder pricing cannot be combined with other promotional codes or discount offers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Rate lock for stated period only: Founder pricing locks in the rate advertised at the time of purchase for the duration explicitly stated. After that period expires, the subscription reverts to the then-current standard pricing with applicable notice.
  • Standard cancellation terms apply: Cancellation of a Founder offer follows the same process and effect as described in Section 7. Cancellation permanently forfeits the locked Founder rate.
  • No refund policy applies: The no-refund policy in Section 18 applies equally to Founder offer subscriptions.
  • Eligibility verification: AMANA reserves the right to verify eligibility for Founder offers and to terminate Founder pricing — without refund of the price difference — if it is found to have been obtained fraudulently or by misrepresentation.

15. Account Suspension for Non-Payment

Where subscription fees remain outstanding following the expiry of any applicable grace period (see Section 9), AMANA reserves the right to:

  • Suspend access to premium features of the Platform
  • Restrict account access entirely until the outstanding balance is settled

During a suspension period arising from non-payment, you may lose access to: private messages, analytics data, opportunity listings, company page management, and other premium-tier functionality. AMANA is not liable for any loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or other commercial impact arising from such suspension where the user’s payment method was invalid or where the user failed to settle outstanding fees.

To lift a suspension, you must update your payment method and settle the outstanding balance via Settings → Manage Subscription or by contacting contact@amana-uae.com.

16. Company Verified Listing Subscriptions

Business plan subscribers with a Company Verified Listing subscription are subject to the following additional terms:

Trade License review

Subscription to a Verified Listing plan includes submission of a Trade License (or equivalent business registration document) for review by AMANA’s team. Subscription payment does not guarantee badge approval.

Approval at AMANA's sole discretion

The AMANA Verified badge is awarded at AMANA’s sole discretion following document review. AMANA makes no warranty as to the outcome of the review process or the timeline for review.

Subscription continues pending approval

If a Verified badge has not yet been approved, the Verified Listing subscription remains active and billable. The badge will not be displayed on your company profile until approval is granted. No refund is issued during the pending review period.

Badge rejection

If your verification submission is rejected, your Verified Listing subscription continues but the Verified badge will not be displayed. No refund is issued upon rejection of a verification submission.

Badge revocation

A Verified badge may be revoked at any time in accordance with AMANA’s Verification Policy — for example, where documents are found to be inaccurate, expired, or where the user violates these Terms or the Verification Policy. No refund of any remaining subscription period will be issued upon revocation.

17. No Guarantee of Business Outcomes

AMANA subscriptions grant access to platform software features only. AMANA is a technology platform — not a business services provider, broker, recruiter, or investment advisor.

AMANA does not guarantee, warrant, or represent any of the following:

  • The quality, accuracy, or reliability of connections made through the Platform
  • The quality or volume of leads, enquiries, or business opportunities generated
  • Any specific number of profile views, connection requests, or message responses
  • Revenue generation, contract wins, partnerships, investment, or any commercial outcome
  • Job offers, recruitment outcomes, or career advancement
  • That any other user on the Platform is who they claim to be, even if Verified

The value derived from an AMANA subscription depends entirely on how you use the Platform and the professional landscape. Subscription fees are charged for access to software features, not for business results. No refund will be issued on the basis of dissatisfaction with business outcomes.

18. No Refunds

As a general rule, all AMANA subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced, regardless of usage during that period.
