Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: AMANA subscriptions are non-refundable once a billing period has started. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period.
1. Scope and Platform Nature
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and one-time purchases made on the AMANA professional networking platform (the "Platform"), operated by Denhill International LLC, registered at IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
AMANA is a business-to-business (B2B) and professional SaaS platform. It is primarily intended for professional and business use, not for consumer use. Subscription purchases made on AMANA are generally considered commercial transactions between the Platform and the subscribing professional or entity.
⚠️ Users who qualify as consumers in the EU/EEA may benefit from additional statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law — local legal review is required to determine the full extent of rights available in your jurisdiction.
2. Subscription Plans
AMANA currently offers the following plans:
- Free — Core platform features at no charge. No billing.
- Pro — Enhanced individual networking features. Available on a monthly or annual billing cycle.
- Business (Company Verified Listing) — Company page features and verification services. Available on a monthly or annual billing cycle.
- Founder Offers — Special limited-time early-adopter pricing, subject to availability and the additional terms in Section 10.
All prices are displayed and billed in US Dollars (USD) via Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles currency conversion automatically for international payment methods. AMANA does not store full credit card details.
3. Automatic Renewal
All paid AMANA subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the same price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. AMANA does not guarantee that a separate renewal reminder will be sent prior to each renewal.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorise Denhill International LLC to charge your payment method on file on each renewal date, without further action required from you. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing period.
4. Price Changes
AMANA reserves the right to modify its subscription prices at any time. If we increase prices, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice by email to the address associated with your account before the price increase takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
Founder offer pricing is guaranteed only for the duration explicitly stated at the time of purchase. Once the stated guarantee period expires, Founder pricing may revert to the then-current standard price, subject to applicable notice requirements.

6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, AMANA (via Stripe) will automatically retry the charge according to Stripe’s standard retry schedule. After repeated payment failures, AMANA reserves the right to downgrade your subscription to the Free plan or suspend your account access without further notice.
You are solely responsible for keeping your payment method current and valid within your account settings. If your subscription is downgraded or suspended due to failed payments, reactivation will require settling any outstanding balance and updating your payment method.
7. General Refund Policy — No Refunds for Partial Periods
All subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. AMANA does not provide refunds or credits for:
- Partial months or partial years remaining in a billing period after cancellation
- Unused time in a billing period when a subscription is cancelled before the period ends
- Periods during which a user chose not to use the Platform or its paid features
- Dissatisfaction with the Platform features, except as provided in Sections 8 and 9 below
This policy is consistent with standard SaaS industry practice and is applied regardless of usage level during the billing period.
8. Exception — Technical Failures
If a material technical failure on AMANA’s part prevents you from accessing your paid features for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours, you may submit a request for a pro-rata credit corresponding to the affected period.
To request a credit, email contact@amana-uae.com with the subject line "Service Credit Request — [your account email]" within 14 days of the incident. Include a description of the issue and the dates of affected access. Credits, if approved, are applied to your next billing cycle and are not redeemable for cash. AMANA’s determination of whether an outage qualifies for a credit is final.
Scheduled maintenance windows communicated in advance do not qualify for service credits.
9. Exception — EU/EEA Consumers (14-Day Cooling-Off)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase (the "cooling-off period"), provided that you have not yet accessed any paid features.
Once you access paid features — including but not limited to unlimited messaging, Pro networking opportunities, or Business listing features — you expressly acknowledge and agree that the supply of the digital service has commenced at your request, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal as permitted by Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights.

This section is provided in good faith and does not constitute a legal guarantee of applicable rights.
10. Founder Offers
Founder offer subscriptions are subject to the same cancellation and refund terms set out in this Policy. In addition:
- Founder pricing is personal and non-transferable — it applies only to the account that originally subscribed under the Founder offer and may not be transferred, gifted, or assigned to any other account or entity.
- Founder pricing may not be combined with other promotions, discount codes, or offers, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
- Founder pricing locks in the stated rate only for the duration explicitly communicated at the time of purchase. Once the stated guarantee period expires, standard pricing applies with applicable notice as described in Section 4.
- Cancellation of a Founder offer subscription forfeits the locked Founder pricing permanently. Resubscription will be at the then-current standard rate.
AMANA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Founder offer claims and to terminate Founder pricing if it was obtained through fraudulent means.
11. Duplicate Charges
If you believe you have been charged in error or charged twice for the same subscription period, contact us immediately at contact@amana-uae.com with the subject line "Billing Error — [your account email]" and include any relevant transaction details. AMANA will investigate the matter and, if a duplicate or erroneous charge is confirmed, will issue a full refund of the duplicate amount within 10 business days.
12. Feed Spotlight Add-on
Feed Spotlight placements are purchased as one-time payments and are governed by the following terms:
- Non-refundable once activated: A Spotlight is considered activated once your company card has appeared in the AMANA feed. No refund will be issued after activation.
- Refundable before activation: If you cancel a Spotlight booking before it has been activated, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.
To request a pre-activation cancellation, contact contact@amana-uae.com as soon as possible after purchase.
13. AMANA Verified Badge
Where an AMANA Verified badge fee is charged (for example, as part of a Verified Listing subscription), the following applies:
- The Verified Listing subscription is subject to the standard cancellation and no-refund terms in this Policy.
- Approval is not guaranteed. Submission of verification documents and payment of any applicable fee does not guarantee that a Verified badge will be granted. AMANA reviews each submission at its sole discretion.
- If your verification submission is rejected, any applicable fee assessed for the verification review process will be subject to the terms stated at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, verification review fees are non-refundable upon rejection.
- If a Verified badge is subsequently revoked in accordance with AMANA’s Verification Policy (for example, due to document inaccuracy or Terms violation), no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact AMANA before initiating a chargeback or formal payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension or termination of your account pending investigation and resolution of the dispute.

15. Taxes
Prices displayed on AMANA may be exclusive of value-added tax (VAT), sales tax, or other applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise at the checkout stage. Where legally required, applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process prior to payment.
You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription based on your location and applicable law.
⚠️ UAE VAT treatment for SaaS services, including applicability, registration thresholds, and TRN requirements, is subject to local legal review in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax.
